INTRO:
The NICEHCK NX8 was one of my favorite IEMs last year (2025), making it into my top 3 that year, behind only the Letshuoer Mystic8 and the Softears Volume S. It achieved this mark by being very beautiful, very comfortable, and having a great sound.
Now, the company has released a limited edition with only 3,888 units, that is the NICEHCK NX8Ti. From what we can see, it’s already evident that there have been changes in the earphone design and also in some of the accessories that come with the product. But the big question is: has the sound changed?

UNBOXING:
PHYSICAL ASPECTS:
Construction:
- Aesthetically very beautiful (subjective).
- Excellent unboxing experience (premium).
- The shell is made of resin.
- The faceplate is made of titanium alloy.
- The nozzles are removable (screw-on).
- 1 pair of extra nozzle (in addition to the one already installed).
- It has 3 vents per side.
- Great build quality.
- The structure is the same as the NX8, only the faceplate is different.
- Excellent accessory kit.
- Excellent case: rigid, lightweight, and elegant.
Eartips:
- 4 types of eartips: 07, 08, C04, and gray ones.
- Quite a lot of quantity and variety. Positive point.
- I don’t like “liquid silicone” eartips (similar to the C04).
- You’ll easily find the correct sound with the ones in the kit.
- I did the review with the HE Sonic eartips (Size M).
- Since it was the eartip I used in the NX8 review, I decided to use the same.
Cable:
- This is perhaps the most non positive aspect of the kit.
- I think the company made a mistake in choosing this cable.
- It’s a very heavy and thick cable.
- It might look nice, but it’s not very practical to use.
- It has low malleability.
- To make the things worse, it added noise to the sound (like lack of grounding).
- Compared to other cables, this one can even be considered “rigid”.
- It can be purchased in a 4.4mm balanced version (at the time of purchase).
- The 4.4mm version will be even heavier…
- It doesn’t tangle.
- It doesn’t develop “memory” (creases).
- It didn’t has microphonics.
- The chin slider doesn’t slip.
- In my opinion, cables need to be light and thin.
- It’s even difficult to store in the case, given its size.
- It’s possible you might still need to replace the cable (subjective).
- Remember, this is just my opinion, someone else might love this cable.
Fit and comfort:
- Excellent fit and comfort. Great stability.
- Very comfortable and lightweight, you forget you’re even wearing them.
- Good shape for all types of ears. Small size.
- Good for long hours of use.
- No protruding parts.
- Medium insertion.
- Great isolation.
Earphone kit (accessories):
- NX8Ti earphones.
- 7 pairs of 07 eartips sizes S/M/L.
- 6 pairs of C04 eartips sizes SS/S/M/L.
- 6 pairs of 08 eartips sizes S/M/L.
- 6 pairs of Gray eartips sizes S/M/L.
- 3.5mm cable.
- Transport case.
- 1 pair of extra nozzles.
- Cleaning brush.
- 2 pairs of replaceable filters.
- 2-pin connector protectors.
- User guide, social media card, and QC pass.

SOUND ASPECTS:
Sound:
- In my opinion, it’s 99.9% similar to the NX8.
- The only difference I noticed is that the bass is more “tight”.
- And then what was good got even better.
- It follows the same description I gave to the first one.
- Engaging, fun, technical sound.
- Balanced tuning. W-Shaped.
- All-rounder. Matches with many genres.
- Delivers energy without being excessive. Coherent.
- Emphasized bass, linear mids and treble.
- Excellent resolution and detail.
- Technically very competent.
- Delivers a lot of texture and warmth.
- If you’re looking for this sound at a lower price, check out the NX8.
- The extra nozzle doesn’t change the sound (in my perception).
Bass:
– Quantitative:
- Moderate to high bass.
- Can be for bassheads, but there are IEMs with more bass.
- Sub-bass and mid-bass with considerable presence.
- A slight emphasis on sub-bass.
– Qualitative:
- These are full, rich, warm bass, with good extension.
- They have plenty of mass, texture, and physicality.
- The definition is very good.
- I found them a little tighter than the first version.
- The impact is very good. Firm.
- They don’t invade the mids.
- The bass add a touch of warmth to the presentation.
- Bass drum kicks are strong and precise.
- Bass sounds authoritative and well-defined.
- As I said before, what was already good here has become even better.
Mids:
– Quantitative and qualitative:
- Forward mids.
- Pinna gain “forward”, but very coherent. Balanced.
- Excellent definition and detail.
- Excellent clarity, airiness, and transparency.
- The midrange has a great sense of speed and texture.
- The instrument sounds are very detailed and textured.
- I didn’t experience fatigue in the upper-mids.
- Tonally and technically well resolved.
- Saxophone, you can hear the nuances of the air in the instrument.
- Guitars have great texture and warmth.
Voices:
- Excellent IEM for both types of voices.
- Body, warmth, and texture for deeper voices.
- Detail, airiness, and life for higher voices.
- Great for whispering voices, due to the detail and texture.
Treble:
– Quantitative:
- Moderate treble.
- Not for trebleheads.
- Well-implemented treble.
- Balanced with the mids/upper-mids.
- I didn’t feel fatigue due to the treble.
– Qualitative:
- Linear, controlled, fast, and well-extended treble.
- Natural/coherent/lively sparkle.
- Good detail and airy. Excellent level of definition.
- They aren’t shrill, not sharp, not harsh.
- I didn’t heard sibilance, peaks, or coloration.
- Guitar solos have great energy and detail.
- Chimes and bells sound coherent in the presentation.
- Ride cymbals have excellent resolution.
Soundstage:
- Excellent soundstage.
- It has a good sense of space, but it’s not that “spatial”.
- The more “forward” mids diminish the feeling of great spaciousness.
- The Quintet has more spatiality, but the mids are more recessed.
- Good in depth, height, and width.
- Along with the imaging, the IEM stands out.
Imaging:
- Excellent instrumental separation. A very positive point.
- The stereo image is also very good.
- The good resolution of the IEM helps a lot in this regard.
- Easy to identify the position of the instruments.
- Hybrids can convey a better sense of separation (isn’t a rule).
Driver flex test:
- The NX8Ti didn’t show driver flex characteristics.
Amplification:
- Easy to push.
- Doesn’t require a powerful amplifier.
- A DAC/AMP dongle is sufficient.
- I review the NX8Ti with the FiiO KA11 dongle.
- I also used the FiiO QX13 dongle and the FiiO ECHO DAP.
- All the equipments pushes the IEM with ease.
- To give you an idea, the KA11 only needs 20 levels (out of the 100 in W10).
PROS AND CONS:
– Aesthetically very beautiful (subjective)
– Excellent unboxing experience
– Great build quality
– Warm and technical sound
– Balanced/all-rounder tuning
– Excellent technicality
– Excellent soundstage and imaging
– Easy to push
– Very comfortable to use
– Good for long hours of use
– Good for all types of ear
– Excellent eartips pack
– Excellent carrying case
– Extra nozzle
– Cable is too thick and too heavy
– Cable add noise of no grounding
– Could have a modular cable
– Twice the price!
