INTRO:
The LETSHUOER DX1 is the company’s latest release. The earphones are a modern work of art, very beautiful (of course, this is always very subjective). I really like LETSHUOER because they are a company that puts a lot of quality into their products, from the packaging to the sound of the earphones. The brand is already synonymous with products with a lot of accessories, you feel like you get a return on your money invested.

UNBOXING:
PHYSICAL ASPECTS:
Construction:
- The shell is all metal (including the nozzle and grid).
- Metal IEMs are very pretty, but they are heavier (isn’t rule).
- They have 3 vents (holes).
- Great build quality. Sturdy.
- Mirrored IEMs tend to scratch more easily.
- Internal smoothing filter in the 5kHz region.
- Great unboxing experience.
- Packaging with premium presentation.
- The carrying case is very good. Genuine product.
- Case with rubber base, prevents dragging and scratching.
PS: My notebook isn’t grounded, so I had small shocks when I touched the floor with my feet (barefoot).
Eartips:
- 3 types of eartips: Normal, wide bore, and TRI Clarion.
- Great variety of eartips.
- The “Normal” eartips (black & white) are the best (in my opinion).
- Wide Bore eartips make the sound more “forward” and with less bass.
- The form of the TRI Clarion isn’t very good for my ears.
- It’s possible to use the stock eartips. The reason to change is only for personal preferences.
- I tested the sound with the SpinFit CP100 (M) [personal preference].
Cable:
- Excellent cable. Very positive point.
- Extremely high-quality cable, and also beautiful.
- No need to change it (subjective).
- Good malleability.
- Very light and thin.
- Doesn’t get tangled.
- Doesn’t get “memory” (creases).
- The earhooks are excellent.
- No microphonics.
- The Chin Slider isn’t 100% effective.
Fit and comfort:
- Great fit – stable in the ears.
- Very comfortable, excellent ergonomics.
- Good for those with small ears.
- Medium to deep insertion.
- Good/ok isolation.
- 11.5g, not the lightest or heaviest.
Earphone kit (accessories):
- DX1 earphones
- 3 pairs of “Normal” eartips, sizes S/M/L.
- 3 pairs of Wide Bore eartips, sizes S/M/L.
- 3 pairs of TRI Clarion ear tips, sizes S/M/L.
- Cable.
- Metal/rubber carrying case.
- Manual, warranty & QC card.

SOUND ASPECTS:
Sound:
- Neutral with a boost in the sub-bass.
- Engaging sound with a punch in the bass (subs).
- Excellent level of definition.
- Very clear and transparent sound.
- Doesn’t forgive bad recordings.
- Slightly attenuated treble.
- Comfortable to listen to, doesn’t fatiguing.
- May lack energy in some genres (subjective).
Bass:
– Quantitative:
- Moderate to high. This is the region that stands out the most (when required).
- Isn’t for bassheads, but it has a good amount of bass.
- Focused on sub-bass.
- Sounds from lower frequencies are more present.
- Mid-bass a little more recessed.
- Eartips can change the dynamics of this region.
– Qualitative:
- The bass is clean, controlled, with great definition, good texture, physicality, impact, and great extension.
- The bass has weight and strength, but in the right amount, it doesn’t overboard.
- “Deep” sounds are very present.
- They don’t invade the mids.
- They’re not bloated, they’re not boomy, they’re not muddy.
- Good for EDM, POP, Rock, Metal (genres with electric instruments).
- Double bass, kick drum, and guitars, the sound is warm and visceral.
Mids:
– Quantitative and qualitative:
- Mids neither “forward” nor recessed.
- Pinna gain is coherent.
- Comfy upper-mids, don’t cause fatigue.
- Silky, soft, engaging, musical mids.
- Great definition, transparency, and detail.
- Not the best for those looking for more forward upper-mids.
- Feels like it could have more airy.
- Excellent for those who enjoy more euphonic mids.
- Snare drums are more “softened”.
- Saxophones have body and texture.
Voices:
- Male/low voices have improved performance.
- More texture for lower voices.
- More power for low and baritone voices.
- Female/high voices have become softer (less energetic).
- Smooth pinna gain makes high voices more “contained”.
Treble:
– Quantitative:
- Moderate to low treble. Slightly recessed.
- Not for Trebleheads (those looking for more treble).
- Region of less presence in the earphone.
- Recommended for those who are sensitive to treble.
- Closer hole eartips reduce treble.
– Qualitative:
- Comfortable, smooth, controlled treble, good extension, good definition.
- Soft sparkle.
- Good detail.
- Not shrill, not sharp, not harsh.
- I didn’t notice sibilance, peaks, or coloration.
- Drum cymbals play controlled.
- Could have more sparkle and energy for some instruments (treble) [subjective].
Soundstage:
- Good soundstage, but not very open sound.
- Good in height and width, average in depth.
- Sound neither spatial nor compact.
Imaging:
- Excellent separation of instruments.
- The good sound definition helps in this regard.
- Good clarity to identify the place of each instrument.
Driver flex test:
- O DX1 não faz o som de driver flex (o “click click”), porém, existe o movimento de contração do driver ao inserir os fones no ouvido.
- For a fraction of a second, the music is interrupted (if the music is already playing and you insert the earphones).
- It is recommended to insert the earphones first and then play the music.
Amplification:
- Easy to push.
- No need for a powerful amplifier.
- A simple dongle is enough.
- I used the DX1 with the FiiO KA11.
- Cable with 3.5mm plug.
- It will play well directly from smartphones or iPads.
- Volume below 20 (of the 100 available on the W10).
PROS AND CONS:
– Aesthetically beautiful (subjective)
– Unboxing experience
– Engaging sound
– Neutral with bassboost
– Clean and defined presentation
– Lush mids
– Comfortable treble
– Good soundstage and great imaging
– Easy to push
– Great fit and comfort
– Excellent cable
– Good variety of eartips
– Great carrying case
– Mirrored IEMs can scratch more easily
– Metal IEMs are heavier (isn’t rule)
– Could have more airy in the upper-mids
– May lack energy for some genres (subjective)
